After receiving a report to the 911 emergency line, elements of the Tijuana Municipal Police went to Avenida Ferrocarril, corner of Boulevard Cuauhtémoc Norte, in the Libertad neighborhood, where they proceeded to rescue eight minors from the United States who Apparently they lived in a deplorable situation inside a parked car.
According to information provided by the agents in charge of the case, they found a green Honda vehicle on the site, where, according to the report, they found eight children. Apparently, that was the home they shared with their parents, who, according to the complaint, did not feed them.
The parents were identified as Beatriz “N”, 35 years old, originally from Los Angeles, California, and Jesús “N”, 40 years old, born in Tijuana, who were not at the scene when the police came to cover the report.
After confirming what was reported on the emergency line, the police officers proceeded to rescue the minors, including Joseph, 15 years old; Beatrice Elizabeth, 11; Aliyah Alissa, 7; Darlene Violet, 6; Velvet, 5; Brea, 4, and Avdrey, 7 months, all born in the United States.
When inspecting the vehicle, the police officers realized that the situation in which the minors lived was unhealthy and deplorable conditions, since in addition to the fact that the car was very dirty inside, they found spoiled food, insects and garbage.
Immediately, the minors were channeled to the System for the Integral Development of the Family (DIF) to later be transferred to a shelter in the city in order to provide them with the necessary care. While the parents will be placed at the disposal of the municipal judge, who will be in charge of imposing the corresponding charges.
