One thing you’ve made clear Netflix over the years is that if you start the promotional campaign for something when it is a long time until its release, that means that you have a lot of confidence in that title in question. Therefore, the launch of the trailer for ‘The Light You Can’t See’ when there are almost 7 months left for its premiere -the next one will take place November 4th– makes it clear that this miniseries is one of the darlings of the platform.
All the details about ‘The Light You Can’t See’
Based on the homonymous novel by Anthony Doerr Pulitzer Prize winner, ‘The Light You Can’t See’ tells us how the lives of two people intersect over the course of a decade. On the one hand, Marie-Laure Leblanc, a young blind French woman who takes refuge with her uncle during World War II. On the other, Werner Pfennig, a German teenager with a great talent for fixing radios. The secret connection that arises between the two will make them regain hope and faith in humanity.
Aria Mia Loberti, Louis Hofmann, Lars Eidinger, Marion Bailey, Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo lead the cast of this miniseries of 4 episodes directed by Shawn Levidirector who has been in charge of two episodes of each season of ‘Stranger Things’ -only the Duffer Brothers have signed more chapters than him- and who will soon get down to work to shape the highly anticipated ‘Deadpool 3’.
Another point in its favor is that the script is written by Steven Knight, creator of ‘Peaky Blinders’ and also head of the remarkable film ‘Locke’. Of course, here you will have fewer opportunities to get your hands on it by starting from a pre-existing work.
