According to some media outlets, the Mexican regional music singer Pablo Montero has been denounced for alleged rape in the state of Chiapas and the State Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the complaint for events that occurred in Tapachula last 7 from January.
According to a statement from the Chiapas Prosecutor’s Office, there is an open process against Oscar “N”, the singer’s real name, after two women denounced him for alleged sexual abuse, which occurred on January 7 on the border with Guatemala.
This news broke on February 6 after some media mistakenly reported that the actor had an arrest warrant and was wanted by Interpol. However, the Prosecutor’s Office denied this version, but after the complaint to the Public Prosecutor of the Tapachula Public Ministry for Sexual Crimes, he assured that the investigation process does exist.
According to the information, the alleged assault occurred in the early morning of that day, when the singer concluded his participation in an event at a nightclub in Tapachula called Love Social Club, and then, allegedly, invited two women to a meeting where the alleged abuse.
It is understood that the artist had a show announced the next day in Huehuetán, another municipality 26 kilometers away, so he slept there that night. However, the exact details of how the alleged events occurred are unknown.
For his part, Pablo Montero pointed out for the magazine TVNotes that these events have made him extremely upset, since he assured that he had no knowledge of the matter up to that moment and affirmed that it was all about a series of slander against him, that they are not going to arrest him or cause him any fear.
