This October 29 marks the first death anniversary of Octavio Ocañawho is remembered for his character “Benito” in the Televisa series ‘Vecinos’, for which his mother, Ana Lucia Ocanaexplained what actually would have happened the day the actor died.
Octavio Ocaña died on October 29, 2021 during a chase in the streets of the State of Mexico, and although the family had preferred to keep details of the investigation under absolute discretion, it was during an interview for the “Ventaneando” program where the actor’s mother recounted what they know about the day the tragic death occurred.
And it is that the family remains firm in assuring that it was actually a murder whose person in charge would have been a police officer who participated in the persecution, and who was already linked to the process while another suspect is on the run. However, according to Mrs. Ana Leticia Ocaña, her son was shot outside the vehicle she was driving, a version that contradicts what the authorities offered.
“So far this is where he ended up, a very ugly place that he did not deserve to end up like this because of a police officer who had been attacking him in the worst way,” he said.
Immediately, he pointed out that, after receiving a bullet in the head, the actor was recognized so they returned him to the interior of the truck to make believe that it was he who accidentally shot himself.
“They take my son down, they kill him for this place because there was blood here. My son stays here on the floor and this is where they kill him, they recognize him, they put him back up and put him in the van because there was no blood in the truck, there was nothing more than here,” he explained.
Pointing to the asphalt, a few meters from the place where the truck was impacted, he assured that “there was a very large pool of blood.”
For his part, Octavio Pérez, father of the actor, assured that they will not rest until justice is done, although it will be life itself who will take care of it.
“Let them bear the consequences, there is a divine justice that they are going to pay for. That’s just how it’s going to be,” he said.
