Most of the latest news about season 4 of ‘Sex Education’ was about the exit of the series of some of its protagonists, but now we finally have very positive news. And it is that Netflix has just released the first images of the new season of one of its best series, thus confirming in passing the return of Emma Mckey like Maeve and the luxury signing of dan levy.
All returns and signings
Of course, Mackey’s has not been the only one confirmed, because in the fourth season we will also see ESA Mariposa (Otys), Gillian Anderson (Jean), Ncuti Gatwa (erik), Aimee-Lou Wood (Aimee), Connor Swindells (Adam), Kedar Williams-Stirling (Jackson), Mimi Keene (Ruby), George Robinson (Isaac), Chinenye Ezeudu (Vivienne), Dua Saleh (Cal), Alistair Petrie (Michael), and Samantha Spiro (Maureen).
In addition, Levy, winner of a whopping four emmys for his work on the series ‘Schitt’s Creek’ and who here will play a famous writer who is also Maeve’s tutor at a US university, is not the only signing, because also join the series Thaddea Graham, Marie Reuther and newcomers Felix Mufti, Anthony Lexa, Alexandra James and Imani Yahshua. Lots of new blood to make up for the multiple casualties.
Last but not least, Netflix has also released a first official synopsis for ‘Sex Education’ season 4:

Following the closure of Moordale High School, Otis and Eric face a new challenge: their first day at Cavendish Sixth Form High School. Otis is nervous about setting up his new sex office, while Eric prays they don’t become losers again. But Cavendish is a culture shock for all Moordale students; they thought they were progressive but this new school is another level. There’s daily yoga in the community garden, a very strong sustainability vibe, and a group of guys who are popular for being…nice? Viv is totally drawn to the non-competitive, student-led approach, while Jackson continues to struggle to get over Cal. Aimee tries something new by taking an art course, and Adam tries to figure out if mainstream education is for him. In the United States, Maeve lives her dream at the prestigious Wallace University, where she receives classes from the writer Thomas Molloy. Otis pines for her as he adjusts to not being the only child at home, or the only therapist on campus…
The new episodes of ‘Sex Education’ are already being shot in the UK and are scheduled to premiere in 2023, but the exact date is still unknown.
