The Experimentum Series initiative –which aims to capture aromas and flavors through the double distillation process, using culinary techniques to offer different sensory experiences in a single liquid– landed in Mexico after having experimented with other endemic ingredients in cities like Tokyo, Brussels, London, Amsterdam, Vienna, Berlin, among others.
The event was attended by personalities such as Julian Langestraat, Global Brand Abassador of Monkey 47, and the star bartender Simon Kistenfeger, in addition to having the presence of some of the best bars in Mexico, such as Handshake Speakeasy -in charge of the evening cocktail-; Bar Brujas, serving mocktails inspired by Mexican aguas frescas; and restaurants like Quintonil, serving its iconic nopal snow; Cardo, Taverna en Prim and La Docena, which complemented the concept of the launch event inspired by the town festivals of our country: cart potatoes, esquites, fairground games, mojigangas in a memorable and very Mexican festive atmosphere.
The limited edition inspired by Mexico consists of only 300 bottles.
The sale of Experimentum Series Mexico started that night during the event that took place at General Prim 30, in the Juárez neighborhood. This is the first time that the Experimentum Series has taken place in the American continent and Mexico was the first stop of this experimental project run by Monkey 47.
