With Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Shortly before the month of its release, Marvel Studios has released the first official images of the Illuminati
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has already raised more than 800 million dollars worldwide. Maybe to give it a little boost at the box office and see if they are able to reach 1 billion. Marvel Studios has released the first official images of the Illuminati.
If you haven’t seen yet Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessjust know that the trailers for the Sam Raimi movie, featured the UCM Illuminati, a group of secret super heroes made up of the greatest supers, in the comics, this group was made up of, Iron Man, Namor, Black Bolt, Doctor Strange, Charles Xavier, and Reed Richards. From here spoilers.
As I was saying, the movie introduces the Illuminati while confirming that the main universe of the MCU movies is Earth 616, with a lineup that has changed slightly in the movie from the members in the comics.
In the Doctor Strange sequel, these Illuminati are part of Earth-838. They stand by the comics, Charles Xavier, Reed Richards and Black Bolt, while telling us that this universe’s variant of Doctor Strange was a founding member and whose place is now taken by Baron Mordo, as for the rest of Members round out the lineup Captain Carter, a variant of Peggy who received the super-soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers (we first discovered her in the What If…? series), and Maria Rambeau’s Captain Marvel, a variant of the character she acquired. the powers that be instead of her friend Carol Danvers.
Until now, there had been no official images of any of the members of this super team until now. Moment in which Marvel Studios has revealed the images of Captain Carter by Hayley Atwell, Maria Rambeau by Lashana Lynch and Black Bolt by Anson Mount, an actor who brought the character to life in the forgettable Inhumans series.
