A week after the death of Julián Figueroa, the news of a lawsuit by Maribel Guardia against the funeral home that took care of the singer’s body has emerged after, allegedly, the staff of the J. García López morgue have recorded and photographed the Julián’s body, to later profit from the images.
According to the information, Maribel Guardia and her husband Marco Chacón are already preparing a lawsuit for moral damages. In addition, the actress could sue the journalist Carlos Jiménez, who released the Mexico City Prosecutor’s document, being the first to talk about Julián’s death.
It is understood that Marco and Maribel are already taking legal advice because, supposedly, they seek to sue the funeral home that was in charge of cremating Julián’s body and where, allegedly, employees of the facility took video and photographs of the remains before being cremated.
According to the journalist Jorge Carbajal, in his program Shockedthe people who have said video in their possession intend to sell it at all costs, since they assure that on April 12, when the press was waiting for Ana Bárbara at the airport, one of the people approached the media to offer them the video .
The video exists and was taken inside the funeral home, shortly before it was put in the cremation. Yes, the press saw it yesterday, they offered it to them because they have not been able to sell it, they continue to offer it.
In addition to this, Jorge Carbajal assured that the video lasts approximately 30 seconds, but stressed that he considers it disrespectful to everyone, so naturally no media outlet has agreed to buy it until now.
Due to this situation, Maribel Guardia and Marco Chacón are expected to proceed legally against the funeral home and those who are responsible for the moral damage. So far, neither the funeral home nor the journalist Carlos Jiménez have commented on the matter.
