Manuel’s memory

Camilo’s secret revealed
Camilo’s secret hangs by a thread, because Catalina has lent herself to call the diocese of León and find out what the supposed priest is hiding. There they have not even heard of the priest and the young woman he tells his father the truth: Camilo is an impostor. It is clear that someone has sent him to spy on The Promise, but they still do not know who or with what intentions.
Alonso calls Sergeant Funes to interrogate the false priest and answer his questions, but Camilo gags Alonso and Conrado and threatens to kill anyone who gets in his way. Luckily, Catalina discovers that she has them and releases them. Together they will go to the kitchen to see how Camilo has taken Lope hostage. Fortunately, Rómulo manages to disarm and arrest Camilobut they can’t get the false priest to tell them who hired him and for what.
The search for the brooch pays off
Gregorio finally leaves the search for the missing brooch in the hands of the Civil Guard and leaves it in the hands of the Civil Guard. For his part, Alonso calls the Civil Guard to find the missing brooch of his first wife, but Catalina has already found it and knows what has happened to it. She wants to recover the jewel, now in the hands of Villaquino’s antiques dealer.
On the other hand, Cruz is convinced that Captain de la Mata, her brother-in-law and Eugenia’s husband, is there with the intention of taking over part of the inheritance, so she tries to throw him out, but the move goes wrong.
The news from Africa they make María Fernández fear that Salvador is dead or badly injured Lorenzo proposes to his son Curro to visit his mother at the sanatorium, but when they return, Alonso discovers that something terrible has happened on that trip.
