Maluma sentenced to those who criticized him for agreeing to appear at the Soccer World Cup Qatar 2022World Cup venue that is accused of violating Human Rights.
Before finishing his concert at the ‘FIFA Fan Festival’ from Qatar, the Colombian singer expressed himself through a video that he later published on his social networks.
The interpreter of ‘Cuatro Babys’ was backstage on the stage of the event. He was about to perform the last song of the concert and in his hands he held a typical Colombian hat that a fan had previously thrown at him.
In front of the camera, he gave the following message addressed not only to his fans, but also to his detractors:
“We are in Qatar, the last song representing my culture, representing my country, they threw this hat at me from the public, I am going to wear it with honor and pride to the son of a p…, the pride of feeling Colombian, of feeling Latino and of represent my culture in all parts of the world, so whatever it is, do whatever… say what you wantwe have the World Cup anthem, we are singing from Qatar”.
Also, in case it was not clear, the video is accompanied by the message: “Say what you want, we are in Qatar singing the anthem of the World Cup.”
For his part, Maluma shared this reply to those who criticize him, accompanied by the following words:
“How proud to be here, representing and feeling proud of my country, my land, my Latino culture. This moment will live forever in my heart and nothing and no one can take it from me, thank you all for believing and giving it to me, without you, the real fans, none of this would be possible! Now yes, to light candles to sing in the final. I love you with all my heart and never forget that… Dreams come true!”.
And it is that, the interpreter of ‘Borró cassette’ has confessed in different interviews his desire to be a soccer player, so, the invitation to the Soccer World Cup is a way of fulfilling his dream as a child of being in a soccer tournament of that magnitude .
On the other hand, the Colombian singer is not the only figure who has spoken out against those who criticize the Qatari venue and the artists who have decided to perform at the world tournament.
A few days ago, Robbie Williams also expressed his opinion on the matter and accused those who have launched criticism of “hypocrites”. Well, the British singer affirms that, if the same criteria are applied to the rest of the world that are applied in Qatar, then, “nobody could go anywhere”.
Meanwhile, concerts and other activities are expected to continue in the ‘Fan Fest’ area, a place where, by the way, fans can consume alcoholic beverages.
