‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War’ may have marked the end of the career of aka akasaka as a manga cartoonist, but continues to work as a scriptwriter in ‘Oshi no Ko’a drama that draws Mengo Yokoyari.
The series already has nine volumes and also has its own anime series on the horizon with a premiere that goes straight to the spring season.
Idols, stalkers… and reincarnations
Although later he took other paths, ‘Oshi no Ko’ has a rather dark start that shows the shady side of the industry idol japanese. The plot starts when doctor Gorou Amemiya must secretly bring the baby of Ai Hoshinoa young superstar who shows up one day at his hospital.
Before giving birth, the doctor is killed by Ai’s stalker… but it doesn’t end there, and he reincarnates as his patient’s baby, Aquamarine Hoshino. Some time later, Ai is also killed, whereupon the old doctor swears revenge and protects her new sister, Ruby Hoshino.
It also seems that the special chapters are being implemented to start the anime. Because ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ will have a one-hour special episode to start its third season, but ‘Oshi no Ko‘ is not far behind either: its first chapter will last 90 minutes and can also be seen in theaters in Japan on March 17.
The rest of the series (including the first chapter, hopefully) will premiere on April 2023, although the day remains to be specified. Internationally, in principle it will be broadcast through HIDIVEwhich is being done lately with many licenses such as ‘Urusei Yatsura’ and ‘Tsurune’, although the same for its broadcast in Spain some other platform surprises us.
