the gala of the Latin American Music Awards 2023held on the night of April 20, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the city of Las Vegas, It had emotional moments and others that were somewhat uncomfortable, including one starring Galilea Montijo and the singer Peso Pluma.
The particular situation occurred when the singer arrived on the red carpet of corridos tumados originally from Jalisco, it was then that they removed Galilee from the revolving walkway where the press took photos of the stars for him to get on.
The moment was shared by Univisión on its Instagram account. In the images, a man from the production of the event can be seen approaching Galilea to help her get down quickly and make way for Featherweight.
Immediately the presenter began to leave the stage, Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, the artist’s real name, went up. In the video it seems that they almost crossed paths and Galilea tells him: “I’ll see you now, countryman,” but apparently he didn’t hear her, possibly because the public was cheering him on..
The images on the Univisión account made Internet users react and criticize the situation.
“I’m not a fan of Mrs. Galilea but who is this Featherweight? No offense, I had never heard of him”; “Who is it?, not even that the type was important”; “How ugly the gesture of not going to greet Galilea, who, very beautiful, was throwing her a kiss”; “The son of Dora the explorer”; “I don’t even know who it is…but hey, welcome to LatinAMAs”Some commented in the Univisión post.
