Many Internet users have been surprised to see that the actor kevin bacon return to the cinematic universe Marvelalthough it is not playing a superhero, but himself, in the “Guardians of the galaxy” Christmas special that will premiere on Disney+ on November 25.
Those characters’ new adventure will show them concerned about lifting Starlord’s spirits (Chris Pratt) during the Christmas holidays after Gamora’s death (Zoe Saldana). Matis (Pom Klementieff) and Drax (dave baptist) have the idea of traveling to Earth to celebrate and go to Bacon’s house hoping to surprise their friend, but the actor runs terrified when he sees his visitors.
It’s not the first time kevin bacon appears in a Marvel superhero film, since in 2011 he played the villain Sebastian Shaw in X-Men: First Class; now he shared on his account Instagram the trailer of “The guardians of the galaxy holiday special”, along with the message “Did I miss that I was on the bad guys list this year? The Guardians of the Galaxy come to collect. Do not miss it”.
