The surprising death of Julian Figueroa At the age of 27, he has shocked the world of entertainment and after that terrible news, a lot of information has come to light. Between them, the ranch that had inherited the only son of Maribel Guardia with Joan Sebastian that belonged to Salma Hayek.
In the 90s, the father of the Hollywood actress sold the property called ‘Las Palmas’ to Joan Sebastian, located in Cuernavaca, Morelos. The ranch, worth approximately $11 million, was the Hayek family home.
The ‘King of Jaripeo’ intended to transform the place into a hotel or restaurant, but his plans were halted when his health began to decline as a result of the cancer he suffered until his death in 2015.
The youngest of Joan Sebastian’s sons inherited the property and revealed a few years ago that before it belonged to his father, it belonged to the actress born in Veracruz, Mexico.
“It is true, I am the owner of the property that at some point was owned by Salma (Hayek), rather Salma’s father, where she grew up. The theme that they began to make (public) is that I had her in ruins; that’s not true”, Figueroa mentioned in an interview for the program ‘De primera mano’.
The ranch that has a stable, bungalows, large gardens and a swimming pool was one of Julián’s treasures. Despite the expenses that the maintenance of the place could imply, for him there was a very important sentimental value.
“I have not considered selling it because of how valuable it is to my heart”, assured the son, also an actor, in October 2021 during an interview for the program ‘Venga la alegría’. In that same year he decided to rent the property to receive extra money that would work for the education of his only son, José Julián.
On another occasion, the young artist shared that Joan Sebastian bought the place “in ruin” and received it that way when he inherited it.
“The reality is that my dad already bought it in ruins; the house is abandoned and that’s how my dad bought it, abandoned, with the hope of one day doing something else there, turning it into a restaurant or building a new house on top of it. But He already inherited it from me in the state it is in right now ”, declared to ‘First-hand’ in March 2022.
At that time, he asserted that he did not have the capital to carry out Joan Sebastian’s plans with that property and he could not neglect the well-being of his son to invest in a place that was given to him in ruins.
“I’ve cleaned it up, I’ve done a lot of things there, but right now I don’t have the capital to build a hotel or a restaurant there. I am not responsible (for the situation). My dad gave it to me with great affection, but I am not going to neglect my son’s education or my son’s life to restore a house that I did not leave in that state.”he concluded.
