Before his unexpected death on April 9, Julián Figueroa had a promising future as an actor, since he had the opportunity to participate in a Hollywood movie, “Centurion: The Dancing Stallion“, where the 27-year-old performed four songs, three in Spanish and one in English.
During the premiere of the feature film, a video was projected where the son of Joan Sebastián and Maribel Guardia sang in English the melody “Ay amor”, created especially for the projectspread the program “Despierta América”.
Although it had been planned that Julián Figueroa would make his live debut, due to his sudden death, images were broadcast showing him riding a horse and interpreting the aforementioned theme.
In addition, to honor the late artist, a small altar was placed on the bandstand, where they placed a bouquet of roses and sunflowers, five candles, and a black and white photograph.
