Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny performed on the second weekend of the Coachella 2023 festivalat the Empire Polo Club in California, and included the participation of the famous singer-songwriter José Feliciano.
Before starting their show together performing the hit ‘La Canción’, the ‘Bad Rabbit’ expressed his admiration for his compatriot, and also asked him for love advice.
“You who have more experience than me, any advice to forget a love?” asked Bad Bunny. Feliciano replied: “Look for another”, and added “Because if he doesn’t love you, what are you going to do?”.
After that, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, real name of the urban exponent, began to talk about the song that they were going to sing on the renowned stage.
The second weekend that Bad Bunny was the star artist of the festival was marked by the Puerto Rican invitation to other artists. In addition to José Feliciano, he was accompanied by: Arcángel, with whom he performed ‘La Jumpa’; Jowel and Randy to sing ‘Safaera’ again; ‘Grupo Frontera, with whom she sang her new song ‘x100to’ for the first time; Jhayco and Gorillaz were also a part of the show.
In this year of Coachella, Bad Bunny made history by becoming the first Spanish-speaking urban artist to headline the festival’s poster. In his first performance on April 15, he paid tribute to his roots with iconic songs for Latino culture.
Winner at the Latin AMAs
Benito’s success was also reflected last Thursday, April 20, during the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs).Although he did not attend the event, he was on the list of winners as: Best Album – Urban and Album of the Year with his work ‘A summer without you’.
In addition, also won the award for Best Song – Urbano with ‘Tití me pregunta’managing to be one of the most awarded of the night.
