“Last year, I received a long and thoughtful letter from @Meganphelps, inviting me to engage in an in-depth, personal discussion with her about the issues that have interested me over the past few years,” Rowling tweeted. “Megan proposed to bring other voices and look at the bigger picture, bringing her own unique point of view as a former fundamentalist who has dedicated her life for the last decade to difficult conversations,” the successful writer expanded.
Rowling continued: “I agreed to sit down with Megan because, having read her wonderful book, Unfollow, I thought the two of us could have a real, interesting, two-way conversation that could be constructive.” JK Rowling’s The Witch Trials is available to stream starting February 21.
