Fans of the K-pop girl group blackpink took to their social media to express their concern about Jenny Kimone of the members, after she stopped singing during her recent concert in Melbourne, Australia, to leave the stage seconds later.
Several videos circulating on social networks show the incident, in which the 27-year-old singer stops choreographing one of the songs, to immediately go offstage and go with the security team, while her companions continue performing for the audience.
The company YG Entertainment, which represents Blackpink, issued a statement informing that the singer is recovering from what they described as a “state of deterioration”. and that will be presented at the next concert of the successful world tour Born Pink: “We regret to inform you that during the performance in Melbourne on June 11 within the BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR (Born Pink) member Jennie was unable to complete her performance due to her deteriorating state. Jennie expressed her strong determination to continue acting to the end. However, following medical advice on the spot, we immediately take steps to ensure that he receives sufficient rest and stability. Jennie has conveyed her regrets for not being able to be with the fans until the end, and assures that she will recover as soon as possible.
