Jennifer Lawrence and Andrew Barth Feldman presented their new film last night at ‘El Hormiguero’: ‘No bad vibes’, a romantic comedy directed by Gene Stupnitsky (screenwriter of ‘Bad Teacher’) and which opens in theaters on June 23.
During the interview, both revealed their clumsier side: Feldman recalled that, on the set, he ended up being dragged through the sand in a scene in which he had to hold some dogs and Lawrence admitted to losing a couple of cell phones a year. In turn, the actress recounted the time she mistook a lady for Elizabeth Taylor herself:
I was 21 years old, this lady was congratulating me and I decided it was Elizabeth Taylor. She passed a friend, and I grabbed her arm and said, “Look, this is Elizabeth Taylor!” “She’s not” she replied to me. Later that lady saw me telling the anecdote on a program, she wrote to my agent and she was very nice, she told him: “No, if I understand it.”
Continuing with the topic of actors, Feldman pointed to Nathan Lane and Robin Williams as his favorite actors and Lawrence to Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Cate Blanchett. He coincided with the latter in ‘Don’t look up’, a film in which he was very intimidated working with Meryl Streep:
He is the most adorable, kindest and most intelligent person. What worried me the most when we made that movie was meeting her. I went in with the intention of not disturbing her. I tried to be there quietly and only talk to her when she spoke to me but she was lovely, she would sit next to her and she would show me an app that she had to sell houses.
