Hugh Jackman is celebrating, because he announced that it was negative in the two biopsies to which he underwent after presenting a risk of suffering from basal cellsa form of skin cancer that has haunted him since 2013.
From his official Instagram account, the actor who will give life to ‘Wolverine’ shared a brief message where he gave an update on his state of health and reported on the results of the biopsies he recently underwent.
“The result of my biopsies arrived. NEGATIVE!!! Thank you all for the love. Sorry,” Hugh Jackman wrote. through their stories, but not before urging their followers to take care of their skin to avoid reaching these instances.
The Australian’s result comes just a few days after posting a video where he appeared with a small bandage on his nose. At that time, he explained that he had undergone two biopsies after his doctor detected small dots that suggested basal cell carcinomas.
“Please, remember to put on sunscreen – regardless of the season,” said the famous. And it is that the carcinoma of which he would have been a victim, which usually appears as a slightly transparent growth on the head or neck, is believed to be caused by prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays.
However, this health problem is not new news for Hugh Jackman since since 2013 he has undergone a total of six surgeries to remove his basal cell carcinomas.
