The Formula 1 legend has expressed interest in joining British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe’s bid to acquire the Red Devils, according to The Mirror.
And it is that the Glazer family, owners of the Premier League giants, put the club up for sale last year due to profitability and debt problems.
Which is why Red Devils fans turned their eyes to the club to bid on them, including Ratcliffe, 70, in association with the seven-time world champion.
It is worth mentioning that Hamilton and Ratcliffe, also owner of the INEOS brand, are friends and business partners.
This is not the first time that the British pilot has shown interest in investing in football, as last year he had tried to buy Chelsea in association with Martin Broughton, however they were unsuccessful, and the team was acquired by Todd Boehly.
