The first trailer for Gotham Knights has finally arrived, the new CW series that will explore a twist in the Batman story, and in whose first trailer one of Frank Miller’s most iconic works, The Dark Knight Returns, was present.

50 seconds into the trailer, after the death of Bruce Wayne is made known and his secret identity as Batman is discovered, Gotham begins to experience a wave of crimes.
In one of the images you can see a young man who has robbed an electronics store, but this criminal is wearing a visor that we have seen before.
If you immediately thought of Mutants, you are correct. The Mutants were created by Frank Miller and first appeared in Batman: The Dark Knight Returns #1.
This group is a dangerous street gang from Gotham City, which become enemies of Batman. The boss of this group is the Mutant Leader, a deformed creature with super strength.
Following the murder of Bruce Wayne, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for the murder of the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this gang of renegade misfits must fight to clear their names.
But in a Gotham without the Dark Knight to protect it, the city becomes the most dangerous in its history. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places. As this team of mismatched fugitives will become their next generation of saviors.
The Gotham Knights series will premiere its first season in the course of 2023 through the CW network, while it is pending in Latin America if this project will reach a cable channel or digital platform.
