Children always give us the best lessons in humility, creativity, and simply how to take life with humor. Proof of this is a little girl named Pía, who came up with a great idea to promote her aunt and uncle’s new business: she dressed up as a taco!
Although some people did not think it was right for Pía to work as a botarga, others applauded her, especially because it was the little girl herself who had the idea and initiative to help her family, putting all her effort, effort and joy.
Pía is originally from Puebla, Mexico, a state where her uncles recently opened a taqueria in hopes of improving their income and getting ahead. Unfortunately, sales were not as expected and people passed by the place without even noticing the small inn that had just opened its doors.
It was then that Pía offered to help and had the brilliant idea of dressing up as a taco. His mother approved the idea, made him his costume and in just a few days he was outside his uncle’s place, wearing his taquito outfit, dancing from one side to the other and shouting “tacos, Arab tacos and very cold drinks!”
Passers-by couldn’t help but look at Pía and, consequently, at her uncle’s place, a place that was filled with customers. In the end, little she achieved what she wanted so much: to help her family and be part of her business.
As for Pía’s uncles, the adults said they felt proud, grateful and at the same time surprised by the great help and lesson that their niece gave them, since it showed them that they only need to believe in themselves to achieve success.
