If in the first season of her Netflix reality show she made it clear to us that she used to sell bags but now she bought them, for the second, Georgina Rodríguez decided to give them away. Well, more like the press and marketing team of the streaming platform, but we will ignore it for the sake of fantasy. Thus, 200 influencers and anonymous people who were winners in a raffle received unique bags that some now sell on Vinted for more than what one of luxury brands like Gucci or Chanel costs.
When the second season of the documentary about the ostentatious life of Georgina Rodríguez premiered, Netflix hung a giant banner promoting it on the Gran Vía in Madrid. So far nothing original if it were not for the fact that everyone who photographed the aforementioned advertising poster and uploaded it to the networks, following the contest rules, would enter the draw for one of the limited edition bags that were going to be made later with it.
“Years ago my life changed and I went from selling bags to collecting them. I hope you wear it with pride and that it becomes part of your collection”, could be read on the cards that the winners (and some influencers) received next to the bag and a sausage and a bag of spikes inside it.

However, now, many of those bags have ended up for sale on second-hand platforms such as Vinted or Wallapop at exorbitant prices. At the time of writing this article, the cheapest is priced at 795 euros (to which the buyer protection fee and shipping costs would have to be added). Nevertheless, other users come to ask for figures of up to 9000 euros.
We assume that these prices have been set based on the fact that, due to the shape and material with which they have been manufactured, each bag is unique in the world even belonging to a series of 200. However, we are not very clear that for now there will be no one willing to pay that amount of money for this promotional product. Above all, being able to invest in an authentic brand.
