Find out if Shazam!: The Fury of Gods has post-credits scenes, and how they can influence the future of the franchise
Shazam!: The Fury of the Gods, sequel to the film starring Zachary Levi, who faces three dangerous villains together with the Shazam family, in the case of Hespera, Kalypso and Anthea, has finally arrived in theaters. and of course the post-credit scenes could not be missing.
Do not miss: Who are the villains of Shazam!: The Fury of the Gods?
Let’s remember that in the first film there were two post-credit scenes, the first one announcing the alliance between the dangerous Doctor Sivana and one of Shazam’s most bitter villains, Mastermind.
While in the second scene of the first Shazam tape, Billy Batson seeks to find out if he can communicate with aquatic and marine species, like Aquaman, in something that obviously doesn’t work.
Shazam!: The Fury of the Gods has two post-credit scenes, which we explain below, as well as their possible influence on the next DC projects in the cinema.
Welcome to the Justice Society?
In the first post-credits scene, two old acquaintances from both The Suicide Squad and the first season of the Peacemaker series appear, Emilia Harcourt and John Economos, played by Jennifer Holland and Steve Age.
The ARGUS members meet up with Shazam, who is practicing shooting at an abandoned gas station.
Harcourt and Economos propose Shazam to join a superhero team, to which Shazam immediately accepts, though to his surprise Billy accepted, unaware that he was recruited into the Justice Society of America and not the Justice League.
Shazam chats with Harcourt and Economos to suggest they rename the team, suggesting options like The Avenging Society, in a running gag involving a certain House Front.
What happened to Dr. Sivana and Master Mind?
In the scene that occurs at the end of the final credits, we return to the cell where Doctor Sivana continues to investigate the way out through the hieroglyphics, when Master Mind appears again in the cell window.
Two years have passed since Shazam and his brothers defeated Sivana, who is held captive in a maximum security prison.
The worm mentions to Sovana that it has not forgotten about him and has started operating to execute a plan where Sivana and Mister Mind plan to take over the Seven Magical Kingdoms, which could glimpse the possible plot of the third part of Shazam!.
From New Line Cinema comes “Shazam! The Fury of the Gods”, which continues the story of teenager Billy Batson, who, by reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!”, transforms into his adult superhero alter ego, Shazam.
Gifted with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his foster companions are still learning to combine adolescence with their adult superhero alter egos.
But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient goddesses, come to Earth in search of magic stolen from them long ago, Billy -Shazam- and his family find themselves locked in a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and their lives. the fate of your world.
Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! Fury of the Gods will hit theaters on March 16, 2023, in theaters in the Mexican Republic.
