If a few days ago the internet was in turmoil with the cancellation of ‘Top Secrets’, now it has been the turn of ‘El Punto Muerto: A paranormal park’ (‘Dead End’‘).

First came a first season in June 2022 and then the second in October, completing the 20 chapters that Netflix had given the green light. Now that all the material that was originally approved has been completed, the platform has decided not to renew the animated series.
Although it took a little bit to start, ‘dead end‘ quickly found a very loyal following and has been lauded by the diversity of its cast and especially for the good LGTBI+ representation with its protagonists. It also made it into the Top 10 most watched series for children’s programming on Netflix, although it did not make the Top 10 overall.
Hamish Steelethe creator of the series, has confirmed the cancellation in your Twitter account informing fans that there will be no season 3, although the scripts and designs for the new chapters were already being prepared.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I have to tell you that ‘Dead End’ is over. We obviously never wanted it to be like this. In fact, we even did writers’ meetings for the third season,” Steele said. “We have scripts, and designs and schematics ready. It was always our plan to give these characters the proper ending they deserve, but sadly, that won’t be possible.”
As with ‘Top Secrets’, the situation is repeated that perhaps with a single season the necessary closure could have been given to these storiesbut it seems that Netflix is not up to the task and has definitely pulled out the scissors.
