Do not miss
From the debut of heroes like Blue Beetle or The Authority, to the return of great icons like Superman, the DC Comics movie release schedule already has interesting projects.
Let’s review what’s next on the DC Comics release schedule, once The Flash has hit theaters.
Blue Beetle (August 15)
Jaime Reyes (Xolo Mariduena), a recent college graduate, returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to discover that the house is not exactly as he left it.
As he seeks to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient alien biotech relic: the Scarab.
When the Beetle suddenly chooses Jaime to be his symbiotic host, he is given an incredible armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers that will forever change his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (December 20)
Beyond the threats from another world, the King of the Seven Seas will deal with nightmares emanating from Planet Earth, led by Black Manta, who seeks revenge against Aquaman, who will have to join forces with his half brother, Orm.
Superman Legacy (July 11, 2025)
On July 11, 2025, the DC Universe formally begins a new era, and what better adaptation of All Star Superman, which is written and directed by James Gunn, who seeks to bring the most human side of Superman to the big screen.
The Brave and the Bold (Date TBC)
Another of the great icons that returns to movie theaters is Batman, in this new stage where the stage of Grant Morrison will be addressed, who in the cartoons introduced us to Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul.
Damian is trained as an assassin and Batman’s great challenge will be to turn this killing machine into a new version of Robin.
The Authority (Date TBC)
For the first time on the big screen comes this group of heroes we met in the 90’s, thanks to the Wildstorm label.
The Authority is a cynical and brutally pragmatic superhero team. The group first appeared in 1999, and each of its members takes a tougher approach with their crime-fighting, and their worldview isn’t what you’d call rosy.
