Thanks to a chat between Colin Farrell and Jamie Lee Curtis, it has finally been revealed when the series The Penguin, spin-off of The Batman, will start filming
After the premiere of The Batman, the expansion of the universe created by director Matt Reeves begins its expansion, and the first spin-off project is the Penguin series, starring Colin Farrell, which already has a filming date.

After his performance as Oswalt Cobblepot in the recent The Batman movie, Matt Reeves seeks to expand the story he built on the mythology of the Dark Knight to other media.
Now the small screen will see the story of Penguin, and his rise to the top of Gotham’s underworld. Colin Farrell announced the dates on which the filming of this series will start

“I did it in a movie. I hope to do it for television in February or March. so i’ll be employed”, Farrell revealed in a chat with Jamie Lee Curtis, who shared the Variety site on social networks.
Penguin will pick up right where The Batman left off, with part of Gotham City under water after the explosions caused by Edward Nashton.
The producer of The Batman, Dylan Clark, spoke about the spin-off series that Warner Bros prepares about Penguin, which will feature Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepott.
“We’re doing one with Colin (Farrell), watching Oz rise to power, almost like a Scarface story… It’s exciting to do something like that alone, but it speaks to the character and our movie, so you’re going to go back to the movie and say, ‘ Oh, I see that backstory there, that line refers to this.”
There is still no release date for Penguin, a series that will arrive through the digital platform HBO Max.
