bulma is the engine with which ‘Dragon Ball’ starts and his family has been a constant in the series because the inventions of Capsule Corp.. They have come in handy on more than one occasion. We know Bulma’s parents, Dr. Brief and his wife Bikini, their children Trunks and Bra… But we didn’t know she had a sister until fairly recently.

Bulma has thrown everything’dragonball‘ without ever mentioning that he had a sister, but it’s just that Tights was recently created although in the story she is the older sister of the family.
Physically Tights closely resembles her mother and has grown the same blonde hair. We also know that since she has always been very interested in science fiction and writing and is extremely intelligent, because he even got a degree when he was still a teenager. But the reason why he wasn’t on Earth with the rest of the Briefs is because he was traveling with Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman in another manga by Akira Toriyama.
These adventures were collected in a single volume that Toriyama published in 2013 and that begins about ten years before the start of ‘Dragon Ball’ (and in fact it connects perfectly with Goku’s story). In this manga, Jaco is on Earth looking for “a dangerous Saiyan”, and after some obstacles along the way he befriends Tights and the two end up traveling through space together for several years.
This is how Toriyama explained why we never saw Tights during the events of ‘Dragon Ball’, although Tights returns to Earth sometime before the start of ‘Dragon Ball Z’. Of course, instead of returning to her family, she stayed away from drama and fighting, she dedicated herself to being a writer of science fiction novels.
Not much of her has yet been seen in the series, although it is known that she lives in the Omori Island. She has appeared a couple of times in ‘Dragon Ball Super’, with a small cameo when Bulma calls her to help her with the Dragon Super Radar and a flashback where we see how she met Jaco.
We also saw her briefly in the manga, during the Future Trunks Saga and the Galactic Patrol Prisoners Saga, so she might be dropped again at some point in the series.
