There are two very good news: we can now listen to the new BTR single Go ahead Pa ‘Ya, which is the first one they launch in Spanish, and we are very close to seeing them at the Kids Choice Awards. Kendall, Logan, Carlos and James talk to us exclusively about the music that this boy band is now making.

Everyone expected a Big Time Rush reunion, but no one saw it coming that they would now sing in Spanish, or Spanglish? The joke is that today they release their single Dale Pa’Ya with all the Latin flavor that they have soaked up with their visits to Mexico.
As if this were not enough, the concerts that Carlos, Logan, James and Kendall will offer in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara are just around the corner, as well as their presentation at the Kids Choice Awards Mexico on August 30.
While all of that is going on, let the BTR members tell us about how they’ve been making music since getting back together.
This is how BTR evolved.
Kendall: What you hear in our music now is an evolution, on our first album they didn’t let us mess around and everything was prepared for the TV show, then the second album came and that’s where we got involved, we started to make our influence felt, in the third album we were already fully involved, and now, on this album, what you will hear are years of experience, of listening and playing music, the mission was that we like it because if that happened we knew that the others would like it. others, that is our evolution.
Now they are in control.
Logan: Before, because there were so many hands involved in the band, there was a lot of confusion, but now it’s just the four of us making music and making decisions, it took time, but that’s the way it is with good things, this was the perfect time to return to the fans , to see how far we could go with our music and what makes us feel comfortable.
Why sing in Spanish?
Logan: It’s something we’ve always wanted to do, it’s a result of our evolution.
Kendall: Singing in Spanish is not something that suddenly occurred to us, we had a very deep connection with South America, especially with Mexico, for a long time. We have been talking about it for 10 years and finally we were able to do it, it was not a sudden idea.
James: We had a couple of Spanish versions of Worldwide that we never released, as Kendall used to say, before we didn’t rule, but now we can do whatever we want, like Dale Pa’Ya.
Kendall: If we hadn’t taken the break this would have happened many years ago. There are those who may think that we released this song because everyone is doing it now, but we have been talking about this for years.
