Damian Lewis’s to ‘Billions’ is not the only return that has brightened our week. Amazon Studios and BBC have announced that they have renewed the great thriller ‘The Infiltrator’ (The Night Manager) for a season 2. Not only that but, according to Deadline, the renewal is also for a third installment.
Released in 2016, the series is based on John LeCarré’s novel of the same name and had a superb cast: Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, Hugh Laurie, Tom Hollander and Elizabeth Debicki as the main quintet. Of these, the only one confirmed for the new season is Hiddleston.

This way, Hiddleston reprises as former British soldier Jonathan Pine, recruited by Angela Burr (Colman) for intelligence missions. In season 1, he was to infiltrate the inner circle of international tycoon Roper, involved in arms trafficking.
