Aerosmith’s latest 40-city tour is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2023 in Philadelphia, United States. On New Year’s Eve they will perform in Boston, Massachusetts, where the group was formed in 1970.
The last performance will be on January 26, 2024 in Montreal, Canada. Each date will feature the band of rock 90’s The Black Crowes as opening act.
In a joint statement, the group consisting of Steven Tyler (vocals, guitar), Joe Perry (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass), Joey Kramer (drums) and Brad Whitford (guitar) shared:
This is not goodbye, this is ‘Peace Out’! Get ready and come here, you will have the best show of our career.
In the same way, the band shared that Joey Krammer decided not to participate in the current dates of the next tour, since, after the concerts last year of his residence in Las Vegas, the drummer is “focused on his family and his health ”. In his place, John Douglas will play drums at the concerts.
With an estimated 150 million records sold worldwide and four Grammy Awards, Aerosmith is one of the bands of rock most popular of all time, with hits like Dream On, Cryin’, I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, Crazy, among others. In 2001 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the same year they performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.
