the canadian Jeremy Podeswa has been chosen to direct the series Blade runner 2099which will be a sequel to the science fiction films blade runner (from 1982) and Blade Runner 2049 (from 2017), starring Harrison Ford and ryan goslingrespectively.
Although no details have been given about the plot of the series or who will take the main roles, it will continue to be set in a future in which there are beings created by genetic engineering called “replicants”. Podeswa, known for his work on the show “Game of Thrones”will also direct the project, and through his account instagram posted the message: “Here we go! Very happy to join this great team in this exciting project. Very big shoes to fill, stepping carefully and with respect!”
