in the last yearss Ángela Aguilar has established herself as one of the youngest singers to represent the Mexican regional. As you know, the famous one comes from one of the most important dynasties, which began thanks to her grandparents, Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre, his grandparents, who excelled in music and film.
During his childhood and part of his adolescence, Ángela Aguilar was able to live with her grandmother, Flor Silvestre, who unfortunately died on November 25, 2020. Without a doubt, the loss of her grandmother was a hard blow for the young woman, since she was and continues to be her great inspiration and role model.
That is why, before dying, Flor Silvestre gave her granddaughter several tips so that she could continue to excel in music. One of these tips was recorded in one of the blogs that Pepe Aguilar shares on his YouTube channel and which was taken up by Buzz.
On that occasion, Ángela Aguilar performed a song for her grandmother, who took the opportunity to dedicate some tender words and advice to her. “God bless you. That you have more and more voice, especially that you sing it… What I told you, interpreting it, just like this (song), but of love”.
At these words, Ángela Aguilar smiled and replied: “But first I have to fall in love, granny.”
On the other hand, years ago at a press conference, Ángela Aguilar was questioned about the role her grandmother played in her career. The young woman mentioned that she asked her grandmother for advice on the clothes she would wear at concerts or awards. “In the process of choosing clothes, all of that, I always show my grandmother a photo and she tells me: ‘Put this kind of shine on it’ and when I finished singing at the Latin Grammys and my dad was offended because my grandmother never marks him.
