Netflix announced a few months ago the opening of ‘Berlin’, the prequel to ‘La casa de papel’ focused on the character played by Peter Alonso. Since then we had hardly heard anything about the series, but today the platform has announced several new features, highlighting the identity of the interpreters who are going to lead their cast together with Alonsointroduced through a teaser trailer that they have not yet wanted to show the public.

The new additions to the cast of ‘Berlin’ are Michelle Jenner, Tristan Ulloa, Begoña Vargas (‘Welcome to Eden’), Julio Pena (‘Through my window’) and joel sanchez. In the advance that I mentioned before, all of them appear already characterized for their respective characters.
For example, Jenner revealed that she plays Keila, a computer engineer who is the brainiac of the band, Ullos is Damián, Jiminy Cricket of BerlinVargas plays Cameron, a very strong woman who has come to have a good time, Peña is Roi, the Berlin squire and Sánchez gets into the skin of Bruce, the brainless one of the group who is full of carpe diem and live the moment.
For its part, Esther Martinez Lobato stressed that it was important that ‘Berlin’ “had its own identity” Y to work autonomously regarding ‘The paper house’, emphasizing that the series will have a more comic vocation. In addition, the possibility of other spin-offs was not ruled out, although at the moment there are no plans.
It is also worth noting that the filming hasn’t started yet but Alex Pina revealed that it will take place between Spain and France, with Paris being the only location in the latter country. Of course, they do not rule out that there are more places, since they are going to start recording without having finished all the scripts for their first season yet.
