Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi talks about his role as an actor and underestimates his role as a performer in Hollywood.

I just played Blackbeard in Our Flag Means Death, I went on Wikipedia and there was too much text. I was not interested. I read the first part and I know he is from Bristol. I heard the Bristol accent, which is similar to Stephen Merchant’s. So I thought that was too difficult, so I decided to use my own accent. That is all. That’s my range. My rank is me. If I don’t try, I succeed. It’s that easy”.
