Last night the final of The Island of Temptations took place. The program ended with his most viewed gala of the edition, in front of the puncture in audiences of the first episode of ‘Masterchef Christmas’. In turn, this has been the season with the least audience in history from the Telecinco reality show.
Up and down
Despite managing to win the lead in audiences most of Thursdays, The Island of Temptations had not been able to exceed its audience ceiling at the premiere gala. Until yesterday, when he got the maximum audience of the editionwith a 14.8% share and 1,632,000 viewers.
‘Masterchef’ did not suffer the same fate, which premiered its Christmas specials with a record low: 7.4% and 783,000 viewers. Quite a slip, taking into account the good results that the format has been giving to RTVE.
The island of temptations was the most viewed of the night, proportionally to its duration, followed by Cristina Pedroche’s visit to ‘El Hormiguero’ (17.8% and 2,502,000), ‘Jack Reacher’ in ‘El Peliculón’ (11.7 % and 1,009,000) and ‘Nightmare in the kitchen’ (7.7% and 850,000).
Once again, some data that is not so positive if we compare it with all its past editions: the 5th It has been the least watched of all seasons of the reality presented by Sandra Barneda. Seeing the disastrous year of hearings that 2022 has been for Telecinco, perhaps he has preferred to settle and squeeze the format by programming four galas next week.
