The race of Hugh Jackman It will be marked forever by Wolverine, a legendary Marvel character who will return once again in ‘Deadpool 3’. However, the actor’s favorite superhero movie is from DC and it’s going to be very difficult to argue with his choice, since it’s also that of many people.
Jackman’s favorite
The actor has granted an interview to Variety in which he has reviewed different topics, but the question about which was his favorite superhero movie is the most striking. There actually stands out twoone from when I was little and one from today, as it happens that both are DC productions:
Growing up the first ‘Superman’. It was revolutionary. Richard Donner’s film with Christopher Reeve. And now I’m going to say… I’m thinking of one of Christopher Nolan’s Batman. I’m going with ‘The Dark Knight’.
Curiously, Jackman collaborated for the first and only time with Nolan in ‘The Final Trick (The Prestige)’, the film that the acclaimed filmmaker made between ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Dark Knight’ and which, in my opinion, continues to be the best film of his entire filmography.
Obviously, that will have nothing to do with the choice of Jackman, who has had no problem opting for a competing film, or at least some viewers will surely see it that way. For my part, I see it as a fairly logical choice, since ‘The Dark Knight’ is one of the best superhero movies in history and Placing it at the top is not out of place at all.
