When does Black Adam premiere in Mexico?
Black Adam hits Mexican screens in a national premiere on October 20.
The origin of Black Adam
The origin of Black Adam belongs to a distant land of Kahndaq, although it is never specified that it is a nation in the Middle East. Over 4,000 years ago, the wizard Shazam selected Adam, a young man with a pure heart, to have the power of the ancient Egyptian gods. His mission was to avenge the death of his family and save his country from the terrible invader. But the young nobleman asked the wizard to share his power with his dying uncle Teth-Adam, known as “mighty Adam.” In this way, both would share the mantle of hero of humanity.
That decision was terrible. Corrupted by power, Teth-Adam betrayed the ideals for which he was given power, craving much more than he already had. His desire to be stronger and more powerful led him to kill his own nephew and seize all of his power.
What relationship does he have with Shazam?
Black Adam was created as a supervillain in 1945 by Otto Binder and CC Beck for DC Comics. In its original context Teth Adam (Black Adam) was Shazam’s nemesis, and the only thing he was looking for was revenge against him, for the most recent film, the character has become a kind of corrupt antihero who only seeks to clear his name and reputation. However, reinterpretations are present.
Both Shazam and Black Adam share the same abilities and powers, and they are both equally powerful because their powers are virtually endless.
The powers of the DC character
Black Adam thus obtained powers such as the ability to fly, super strength, control lightning and thunder, to name a few.
