Telemundo will once again bet on period productions with the melodrama “El Conde: Amor y Honor”Inspired by the classic novel by Alejandro Dumas, was made in Mexico and has already finished recordings, for this reason its cast headed by the enigmatic Fernando Colunga (who did not attend the closing), and Ana Brenda Contrerascelebrated having completed this project with an intimate meeting where they took the opportunity to have a sample of the first episode.
The event was held in a movie theater where everyone could see the first episode as a member of the audience. After the screening, the actors posed on the red carpet and toasted the success of this series, which tells the love story between Alexander Gaitan (Colunga), a humble peasant youth, and Mariana (Contreras) a beautiful and restless young lady. But Josephine de Zambrano (Andere), Mariana’s stepmother, and Gerardo Villareal (Sendel), they will set out to turn this love story into a real hell.
Alejandro will be blamed for a double homicide and without anyone knowing his fate, he will be transferred to a dungeon on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean. There he will meet Amador Guzman (Navarro), a Spanish nobleman serving a life sentence there. Amador reveals to her that he has a hidden treasure and before dying he gives her his fortune.
When Alejandro manages to elope in the 1950s with that immense fortune, he returns to San Jacinto where he discovers that Mariana married Gerardo and that he was left for dead. So he decides to execute a plan to do justice against those who betrayed him, especially Mariana who he believes is part of that conspiracy.
Alejandro returns as the powerful Count Joaquín de Montenegro and this will be the beginning of a dangerous revenge against those responsible for his 17 years of unjust confinement.
