The documentary about Armie Hammer has faced more than one controversy since its premiere, and not precisely because of the dark secrets that it promised to uncover about the actor’s billionaire family to connect them with the testimonies that portray him as a sexual predator with a cannibalistic fetish.
After its premiere, those responsible for the production have been forced to remove an image which was used as evidence of the alleged aggressive behavior displayed by the actor in private. While Courtney Vucekovich recounted his experience with Armie, on the screen appeared a bite that she had apparently suffered in one of their sexual encounters.
Nevertheless, social networks quickly realized that this image actually showed a tattoo that emulates the mark that teeth would leave on the skinand which can be found at pinterest. Courtney has apologized, explaining that Armie sent her that picture during their conversations about her fantasies and over time she had forgotten that it wasn’t a picture of her.
The problems for the Hammer documentary do not end there. Another of Hammer’s alleged victims, known only as Effie, has publicly criticized him for exploiting such a tragic moment in his life in such a “disgusting” way “without any respect for her privacy.”
Although Effie refused to participate in the project, the directors decided to use the messages she posted anyway. at the time on social networks denouncing that the movie star had raped her in 2017. Her accusations were the only ones that led to an investigation by the Los Angeles police, which was closed last year so that the case passed into the hands of the prosecution. They were also the trigger for Courtney and another woman to break their silence about her experience with Armie Hammer. That is the argument they have used since the docuseries to justify their decision to include her in the plot, claiming that it is her duty to tell the story, whether she wants it or not.
