After a long hearing held on May 11, Héctor Parra, a Mexican actor, was acquitted of seven charges of a sexual nature against his daughter, Alexa Hoffman, who, in 2021, reported him to the authorities for sexual abuse and corruption of minors. .
Samara Ávila (the actor’s lawyer) and Daniela Parra (also the actor’s daughter) announced that, despite the acquittal of seven charges, a new hearing has been scheduled for May 18, in which he will be tried for the crime of corruption of minors. Until he has a resolution, Héctor Parra will remain in preventive detention in the Reclusorio Oriente in Mexico City.
It is worth mentioning that a final arguments hearing was held on May 10, in which the defendant’s and accuser’s lawyers presented a summary of the case, an element that would determine the legal situation of the actor.
In this allegation, no verdict was made and the judge determined to schedule a new hearing to give his ruling a day later, that is, on May 11.

After an exhaustive analysis, which began at 6:00 p.m. and ended at 9:00 p.m., the authorities granted Héctor acquittal of seven sexual crimes, but he still has a pending lawsuit, that of corruption of minors.
At the end of the day, he (Héctor Parra) is calm, positive and in the best mood to hear good news tomorrow. I see him whole, aware of the allegations that were made in his favor, he had a moment to speak with his lordship, and calm, focused, positive.

On the other hand, Alexa and her lawyer carried out a live through his Instagram account explaining that the actor has not been acquitted or released, at least not for the crime of corruption of minors.
The crime he committed was committed to corruption of minors, which is more serious than sexual abuse. So, well, let’s say that the sexual abuse was canceled and that’s why they’re saying that he was acquitted and that he is innocent. Not so, in fact, he is on a worse offense than the one he is being acquitted of. (…) I decided to denounce my father because I was fed up with seeing him appear on television assuring that he was innocent. All I’m looking for is justice, whatever that legally entails.
Alexa’s lawyer concluded the live ensuring that the information has been distorted by Héctor Parra’s lawyer, since he was found guilty (for the crime of corruption of minors) and, at least, could spend 10 years in prison. Given this, the actor’s legal team has not given any reply.
