This third part is important in many ways for Marvel Studios, since in addition to seeing Kang the Conqueror in action, one of the heroines who will see her debut in the MCU will be Stature.
Created by David Michelinie and John Byrne, Cassie Lang first appeared in Marvel Premiere #47 (April 1979). In her heroic side we first saw Cassie as Stature in Young Avengers #6 (May 2006) and she took on the identity of Stinger in The Astonishing Ant-Man #6 (May 2016).
The three stages of Cassie Lang
Although you remember Cassie Lang in the cinema, she debuted in the plot of Ant-Man (2015) and the one who played her is the actress Abby Ryder Fortson, who was born in 2008 and was 7 years old at that time.
Fortson reprized her role for Ant-Man and the Wasp, and in Avengers: Endgame, Cassie Lang’s next appearance, Emma Cate Fuhrmann was cast as Scott Lang’s now 16-year-old daughter.
After confirming the completion of the third part of Ant-Man, which received the title Ant-Man and the Wasp, Kevin Feige revealed that the role of Cassie Lang would be played by Kathryn Newton, and not by Emma Fuhrmann, who thanked Marvel Studios the opportunity to appear in Avengers: Endgame.
I will always be grateful to have been a part of the MCU & the biggest movie of all time. Being an actress is still my #1 passion & I look forward to what the future holds.
