This week firm group premiered “Puras pa’ pistear”, the album with which they say goodbye to 2022, one of the most successful years in their career, the album is made up mostly of unpublished songs.
Although they include a cover of Banda MS, the format in which they did it is “live type” so you can enjoy the adrenaline that the artists exude and of course the great party.
One of the songs on the album that is already attracting attention is “Me perdera por wey”, in which Edwin Caz (first voice) and his brother Jhonny Caz (third voice) share the limelight, the song speaks of spite and it is beginning to resonate in networks, since the LGBTQ+ community felt identified with the lyrics of the piece.
It should be noted that Jhonny Caz is one of the icons of the community and since he began his career at Grupo Firme he has been in charge of raising the multicolored flag.
Proof of this, his rainbow microphone is heard at each of the events attended by musicians from Baja, California and Culiacán, Sinaloa, always proud of who he is and his colleagues showing the due respect that everyone deserves.
“He loses me for wey” It is authored by Christopher Alejandro López Martínez, Víctor Miguel Miramontes Gutiérrez and Daniel Enrique Carmona Hernández, It should be noted that the song would be the first with inclusive lyrics in the Grupo Firme repertoire, since it goes from them to them.
“This cowboy has plenty of jeans in life, don’t waste your time, don’t get in the way, when they’re like you, a little cry, a drunk and the next”sings Jhonny Caz in the chorus of the song.
In addition to the success “Me perdera por wey”, the live album contains six more songs: “False Alarm”, “It’s not here”, “When you wake up” (a cover of Banda MS), “Miss”, “Borrón and new account” (in collaboration with La pauta) and finally “How do I tell him?”.
On social networks, Eduin Caz, who is also the leader, said he was very happy and grateful for all the love that his followers and “family” as he calls the people who support his career have given the recording.
Well, in less than a day, several of the videos exceeded 100,000 views and trended the clips on YouTube, something that filled the musicians with happiness.
