Gamora’s return is only a small part of a great farewell in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, said her interpreter, Zoe Saldaña
One of the wackiest teams in the Marvel Universe return after a long absence in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which will be the end of the team as we know it, including Gamora’s story, according to Zoe Saldaña.
Don’t Miss: The adventures and madness return in the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3!
After the events of Avengers; endgame, where Gamora “came back” to life, Thanos’s daughter disappeared, leading Quill and the team on a galaxy-spanning search for the whereabouts of her mate.
But this will be only the beginning of a story that could mark the end of a stage within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as Zoe Saldaña pointed out in an interview with comicbook.
“It is an accurate representation. It’s a farewell… James Gunn is a very good writer. He really likes to write flawed human characters. In a way, it’s going to be a nice conversation, just like Avatar, looking around you.“.
Saldaña pointed out that this next appearance of Gamora will be one of the most emotional parts of the entire saga, which will anticipate
“It’s not just about your journey, it’s about the journey of your environment and the people around you… maybe the animals and nature. so it will be very nice“.
the end is near
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, our beloved band of misfits looks a little different these days. Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team around him to defend the universe and protect one of his own. A mission that, if not completed successfully, could very possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will feature a cast consisting of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, David Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Pom Klementieff as the voice of Mantis and Karen Gillan as Nebula.
This production is joined by Will Poulter in the role of Adam Warlock and Chukwudi Iwuji as High Evolutionary, the villain of the plot.
Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
