Zac Efron has revealed that he suffers from agoraphobia -an anxiety disorder that involves the fear of entering crowded spaces, or sometimes leaving the house- during a recent interview for the magazine Men’s Health October 2022.
“I just don’t go out,” the actor told the publication. “Large groups of people trigger my agoraphobia.” Although Efron did not offer more details about his fears, in the past other celebrities such as Kim Basinger Y donny osmond have been candid about their experiences with agoraphobia. The latter assured in 2000 that he “would have chosen death” instead of acting if he was given the choice between going on stage or dying.
during the conversation Zac also talked, among other things, about how he achieved the much-talked-about body he wore in the 2017 film “Baywatch.”warning his followers that he’s not sure “that’s really achievable” with rigorous training and routine, as even he suffered from severe depression. “That image is false; looks like CGI. And that required Lasix, powerful diuretics, to do it. So I don’t need to. I prefer to have an extra 2 to 3 percent of body fat,” she assured.
To stay in shape for filming, the actor had to sleep little, train excessively and eat the same three meals a day.. Now he wants to show what it cost him to get that body and the negative effects that have lasted after filming. “I started to develop insomnia and fell into a very strong depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me.”Efron said. “It took me a long time to focus again. In the end, they put it down to me taking too many diuretics for too long and it messed something up.”
