Undoubtedly, one of the things where most of the money goes is food, since it is a basic need that has now also become a pleasure, because who does not love to enjoy a delicious dish?
Receiving real food causes a lot of happiness, especially when it’s free, but what happens when we merge the pleasure of food with a social experiment? This is what a user of the social network Facebook known as Amigrifo Morado wanted to find out.
In recent days, this user with more than 130,000 followers uploaded a video to the social network where he narrates that he goes to a luxurious restaurant in Mexico City to pretend to be a food critic and see how they treat him, obviously hoping to get free food. .
As the clip progresses, the user is observed tasting the different dishes and drinks on the menu. In total, the package he ordered included a cream starter, a breaded chicken main course, an aguachile, a dessert and two drinks for a price of 1,420 Mexican pesos (approximately $71).
The boy recorded and commented on each dish he was trying. In addition, he made sure to bring a notebook to write his criticisms in order to appear interesting to the restaurant staff.
On video we can see that a waiter approaches him and brings him a craft beer, as well as some canapés that he did not order, so he thought that his performance as a critic had taken effect and they would start sending him free food.
Near the end of the video, a subject tells him that all the food was “gimmicked”, meaning that everything had been infused with cannabis as a form of “revenge” on the chefs for pretending to be a food critic. However, the Amigriff did not believe it, as he said that he did not taste like grass at all.
Once the food was finished, the chefs went to his table and confirmed that they had indeed put the psychotropic in all the food. By that time he had already kicked in and he ended up really high.
Amigrifo Morado is dedicated to making humorous videos that involve trying food, making jokes, among other various topics, so users did not believe that his experience as a critic was real.
Or how to blame the skeptics, since it is true that many things do not add up to the video, such as the fact that, being a luxury restaurant, they served him drinks in plastic and Styrofoam cups or that he did not speak or behave as a true critic would have done and that it would be illegal to give substances to someone without their consent.
Even if it was all a prank video, there’s no denying that the idea is a smart one, although it may not turn out in the best way. In any case, the video went viral and made more than one Internet user smile.
