Adoption can be a controversial topic for those who want to have children or expand their family. However, for others it is a hope of life, a second chance that they cannot refuse.
Such is the case of Abraham and his brother James, who were adopted in Sierra Leone, Africa, by an American family that could not be indifferent to their needs for love and security.
The brothers have adapted to their new family, who do everything possible to integrate them and provide them with unique and incomparable experiences, such as the one Abraham recently experienced when celebrating his birthday for the first time in his life.
It turns out that the boy had never had the opportunity to celebrate his birthday with a cake, some candles and the classic mañanitas, because his economic situation did not allow it. That is why his family surprised him with a cake and the boy could not help but be moved to tears.
Abraham has never “made a wish” or blown out candles on his very own cake! This is what JOY looks like!! #internationaladoption

Abraham has never ‘made a wish’ or blown out the candles on a cake of his own. This is what joy looks like!!
His reaction was recorded on video and was later shared on TikTok, a social network in which he has already accumulated more than 23,000 views and comments that congratulate the family for the beautiful integration they have achieved.
Stories like these make us value our family and remind us that second chances are always good, especially if they result in healing the hearts and souls of others.
