Tonight is the final of ‘El Desafío’ and its last four contestants went through ‘El Hormiguero’ to remember their career in the contest. Mariló Montero confessed that Rosa López recommended that she pee to do the apnea test. This was explained by the former contestant of ‘Operation Triumph’:
You can’t hold it: if you get to pee, it’s because you’ve been there for two or three minutes. The sphincter relaxes, like when you cum, and you pee. When the contractions and the burning in the neck are over, you feel the same as when you are going to have a heart attack.
Ana Guerra confessed that she started the program being very pessimistic in order to overcome the challenges but leaves very satisfied to have learned so many new things:
I discovered myself and learned that limits are set by oneself. You are your own roof. When you surround yourself with precious people who encourage you and believe in you, it’s wonderful. When you exceed the limit that you have set for yourself, it is an open sky full of possibilities and that is life. ‘The challenge’ is a metaphor for life.
Mariló Montero wanted to remember his partner Boris Izaguirre, who continued to compete despite suffering a stroke during the recordings of the program:
Boris made a tremendous effort to be in the contest. We saw that he was not being himself and was going to work in a wheelchair. He gave him a stroke and still he competed. He did the apnea and all the tests. You have to take into account the value of each contestant, the age and what they give.
