A US judge on Monday dismissed one of the lawsuits filed against Spacey.<\/b> by Anthony Rapp, who was 14 when he says Spacey climbed on him at a party in his Manhattan apartment.<\/p>\n
After Rapp finished presenting his case in the civil lawsuit he filed against Spacey in federal court in Manhattan, US District Judge Lewis Kaplan dismissed Rapp’s suit for intentional infliction of emotional distress, stating that the The lawsuit repeated his assault allegations against Spacey, 63.<\/p>\n
Kaplan allowed Rapp’s assault lawsuit to stand. The lawsuit will be considered by a jury once Spacey’s defense finishes presenting its case.<\/b> and the attorneys for both parties present their closing arguments.<\/p>\n
Rapp, now 50, testified earlier this month that Spacey, then 26, was intoxicated and was scarred by the experience.<\/p>\n
Spacey has denied Rapp’s allegations and other people’s sexual assault allegations. Last week, Spacey’s attorney questioned Rapp’s memory of the incident during cross-examination, asking why he described the encounter as having occurred in a bedroom when Spacey was living in a studio apartment at the time.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
